Terms of Service — Smartrendz Uganda

By using Smartrendz.ug ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@smartrendz.ug if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Orders & pricing

All prices are in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and include VAT where applicable.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders due to pricing errors, stock issues, or suspected fraud.
An order is confirmed only after payment is received (or, for COD, when our team confirms availability).

3. Payment

We accept Mobile Money, debit/credit cards, and Cash on Delivery within Kampala. By submitting payment information, you authorize us (or our payment partners) to charge the listed total.

4. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. Risk of loss passes to you when the courier hands the package over to you or your authorized representative.

5. Returns & warranty

Returns and warranty claims are governed by our Return Policy and Warranty Information.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Submit fraudulent orders or use stolen payment methods.
Attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the Service.

7. Intellectual property

All content on Smartrendz.ug — logos, product photos, text, and code — is owned by Smartrendz Uganda or its licensors and may not be reproduced without written permission.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ugandan law, Smartrendz Uganda is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the related order.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated terms.
